Project Manager (Contract / Specified Period Employment)

Development and implementation of Regionally Co-operative Virtual Northern Ontario Arts Hub website

Location: 6715 Hwy 11 N, Temagami, ON
Duration: Soon as possible
Compensation: $19-$22/hr based on a 35-hour week

Summary of duties

• Recruit regional artists and organizations
• Collaborate with project partners and board members on
  ◦  the creation of an arts and performance sales hub
  ◦  the development of an accessible performance space. live arts channel and programming schedule
  ◦  establishing a partnership communication area
• Create virtual programming site plan for event opportunities
• Finalize and implement a shared cost sustainability model
• Co-ordinate project meetings
• Assist stakeholders and co-operative partners adapt to the virtual showcasing platform.

Requirements:

• Experience in managing and /or developing websites
• Background in the visual or performing arts
• Strong computer skills
• Leadership skills
• Organizational skills
• Flexible, adaptable, versatile
• Ability to develop effective working relationships as part of a team
• Required to abide by safe working environment protocols
