Ontario Association of Art Galleries Presents: Curators’ Circle
Join the conversation at OAAG’s inaugural Curators’ Circle!

On Tuesday, 10 September, with cocktails and canapés in hand, curators from across the province are invited to attend OAAG’s inaugural Curators’ Circle hosted at the Drake Commissary (128 Sterling Rd, Toronto, ON). The evening will be filled with networking and conversation on contemporary curatorial issues in a casual, after-work environment. Art curators of all levels of experience and backgrounds are encouraged to attend this event and contribute to the community.
Mia Nielsen, Director of Art Toronto, will begin with an informal keynote address on the relationship of art galleries and community, public programming, and audience development. Curators will then be able to join in the conversation and share their own thoughts on the subject. The event will also be filled with plenty of time to mix and mingle with one another and have some incredible food and drinks from The Drake.
Tickets are $20 and include access to the event and food throughout. A bar to purchase drinks will also be available. This event is open to curators of ALL backgrounds and experiences including emerging and other art professionals who wish to discuss current curatorial issues. Parking is available at the Drake Commissary in marked spots in front of and behind the restaurant, as well as a paid parking lot down the street.
