Celebrate Memory and Transformation, four exhibitions by five artists that explore memory, transformation, loss, and renewal through photo-based work. In a two-person exhibition, Natalie Hunter and Dianne Twombley reimagine decaying or demolished architecture, transforming these structures through colour or by creating new environments. Tommy Feiler blurs the lines between documentary and fiction, imagining new memories in images made from the isolated frames of found Super 8 home movies. Yujie Wang creates intimate versions of sweeping vistas in sepia tones that evoke historical photographs. In the parallel stories of two Chinatowns, Alex Hall explores immigration, displacement and family history, with work that suggests a longing for memories and connection

Plus meet the hotel’s new Resident Artists—Berta Biondic, Shaney Herrmann, and Kalmplex—in the Art Studio and see what they’re creating.

Free admission. Cash bar.
Remarks at 6:30pm.
Continue the party in Cassette at Gladstone House, with a DJ from 8 – 10pm.
This event is free to attend and open to all ages. Registration recommended.

Memory and Transformation runs May 1 – September 1, 2026, 10am – 7pm daily.
