Qualifications

Applicants should clearly articulate their experience and capacity to teach discipline-specific studio methodologies and approaches in drawing, as well as expanded practices relevant to the future of the field. Their teaching record should illustrate broad thinking, innovative, inclusive, and accessible teaching methods and approaches, as well as the ability to incorporate art history, visual culture, discourse and critical theory into their teaching.

In addition to high-quality teaching, the successful candidate will be expected to maintain a creative research practice and participate in departmental activities and service.
