Art Collecting for Everyone: Building Inclusive Contemporary Collections
This hands-on course is for anyone curious about how art enters the world, where it ends up, and how we can participate in collecting in thoughtful, ethical, and accessible ways. Site visits, studio tours, case studies, and creative exercises will be explored. Topics will include exhibiting and living with art, basic collection care, archival thinking, and the emotional dimensions of stewardship. Starts September 12, in-person.

Now Open: Human-Centred Design Certificate
Join this immersive certificate and gain the skills to design meaningful, user-centred solutions. By the end of 14-weeks, you will walk away with a polished design project, a deep understanding of HCD, and a portfolio-ready case study. Starts September 9, online.

Apply for the HCD Continuing Studies Bursary. The bursary provides a 60% reduction on the full price of the certificate fee. Interested individuals must apply to demonstrate evidence of financial need. Please note that there are limited funds available. The application deadline is August 12.

Celia Krampien is an author, illustrator, and educator. She has been creating illustrations for newspapers, magazines and children’s books since 2013. At the School of Continuing Studies, Celia teaches Children’s Book Illustration Studio and Intermediate Children’s Book Illustration Studio. Learn more.
