Fleming’s diverse programs are built on a variety of hands-on learning platforms delivering the kind of real-world experiences and skills development that ensure students are “job ready” for today’s competitive job market. Fleming has established pathways from college to university through affiliations with a number of provincial, national, and international institutions. These dynamic partnerships deliver additional academic programming, research opportunities, and post-secondary credentials and provide students with the robust skills necessary to successfully compete for jobs.

In June 2019, Fleming College launched a bold five-year strategic plan under the inspirational banner “Our Fleming. Our Future.” The strategy re-defines the role that Fleming will play in providing students with the skills, innovation, resources and acumen necessary to thrive in the jobs of tomorrow. The Strategic Plan 2019-2024 positions the College as an innovator in future program design and delivery, technology adoption, inclusive and highly integrated student and faculty, and innovative partnerships that will elevate Fleming’s local, regional, and global profile and attract new students and faculty. To support its bold strategy, Fleming College is seeking an innovative academic leader to join its senior academic leadership team as the new Dean, Haliburton School of Art + Design and School of General Arts and Sciences.
