The City of Mississauga is excited to announce the annual Resident Artist Exhibition is back and on display until May 25, 2023. The exhibition, titled Change. Transition. Sustain, speaks to the artists’ collective experience as creators and makers during times of change.
Hosted at the Small Arms Inspection Building, Change. Transition. Sustain, will feature works from numerous artistic disciplines including woodworking, textiles, glass, ceramics, photography and painting from the City’s Resident Artists.

About the Resident Artist Program
The City of Mississauga’s Resident Artist Program is designed to support emerging and mid-career artist and artisans in developing and maintaining their art and design practice. The program provides artists access to professionally-equipped studio spaces in the Living Arts Centre and supports artistic practices across nine disciplines. Venue Description
The Small Arms Inspection Building (SAIB) is a historic, multi-purpose building that presents a wide range of arts and cultural programs. As the only cultural hub of its kind in Mississauga, the SAIB supports meaningful audience engagement through dynamic exhibitions, events and experiences. This unique venue provides much needed cultural space that will be used to present open and responsive programming that fosters collaboration and community-building on a local, regional, national, and international level.
