The Artists’ Network is committed to providing exhibition opportunities to Canadian artists. By transitioning to hybrid in-person and online shows, we have pivoted to ensure artists have the best possible chance to promote and sell their work.
We will be extensively marketing these events and will deliver art and artists to collectors who have been without art in front of them for too long.
We would like to invite you to apply for these two shows!

Each show has $50 application fee and must be applied to individually.

ABOUT Riverdale ArtWalk: Riverdale ArtWalk is a two-day, public fine art exhibition showcasing established and emerging artists in Jimmie Simpson Park, part of the flourishing Queen East arts district. One of Toronto’s premier outdoor art exhibitions, participating artists are selected through an anonymous jury process, allowing for an opportunity to participate in an outdoor art show that focuses SOLELY on fine art. Not only a top rated show for art lovers and collectors, it has consistently been rated by local artists as one of the best organized shows in Toronto. With our intensive orientation session before the show and strong artists support, 96% of RAW artists indicated overall communications “Best Ever” or “Better than Average”, You don’t want to miss this show!

Location: Central Town Square at CF Shops at Don Mills, Aggie Hogg Blvd. and Karl Fraser Road
ABOUT ARTWALK IN THE SQUARE: ArtWalk in the Square is a three-day, public fine art exhibition at the CF Shops at Don Mills. With established and emerging artists exhibiting painting, photography, mixed media, printmaking, drawing, glass and sculpture, in a juried show featuring ONLY fine art. CF Shops at Don Mills is where fashion, dining and entertainment come outside to play. Visit Ontario’s first and finest open-air centre with exceptional shops, restaurants and services surrounding a lovely Town Square. This upscale centre hosts shops such as Anthropologie, Michael Kors and Roots combined with restaurants, coffee shops and the Cineplex VIP movie theatre. In 2019, the CF Shops at Don Mills tracked over 17,000 unique visitors during ArtWalk in the Square, with store sales up 2% over the weekend. The Friday night will be a “Night Art Market” with lights and festivities!

Art can depict both the beauty of our natural environments and the concern for what we are witnessing across the planet. We have all seen the reverence for the land portrayed by artists such as Lauren Harris and Emily Carr. Alternatively, the works of Tiffany Shaw-Collinge and Edward Burtynsky have shown how art can bring attention to the plight caused by human development. This show will be a dynamic mix of artwork that balances the love and respect we hold for our natural world while drawing attention to the devastating changes affecting us due to climate change. In doing so, we can, as artists, add our voices to the call for action now!

Artists’ Network asks all Members and Non-Member artists to please send us your strongest original 2D or 3D work with an artist statement that deeply considers your relationship to this theme. Priority will be given to work that specifically answers this call.
