The Call for Entry for IMPACT 2023, Neilson Park Creative Centre’s 30th Annual Juried Exhibition, is now open! All established and emerging artists are welcome to apply. The exhibition and reception will be held in the Art Space Connect and Parkview Galleries at Neilson Park Creative Centre (NPCC).

IMPACT is NPCC’s most anticipated show that fosters creativity in the artistic community. IMPACT 2023 aims to bring together artists practicing in diverse media and approaches, both traditional and contemporary, while showcasing artwork of the highest standard.

It’s our 30th Anniversary! To celebrate we are offering larger award prizes this year!

Important Dates

Exhibition Dates: July 11 to August 3, 2023
Entry Deadline: May 19, 2023
Selected Artists Notified by Email: June 9, 2023
Artwork Delivery Date: July 6, July 7 and July 9, 2023
Reception & Awards Ceremony: July 20, 2023 from 7 pm to 9 pm
Pick up of Accepted Artworks: August 4, August 5 and August 8, 2023

Awards

  • First Place: $1000
  • Second Place: $750
  • Third Place: $500
  • One People’s Choice Award: $200
  • Two Honourable Mentions of $100 each

Our Juror

Kim-Lee Kho is a Canadian multidisciplinary artist of Chinese-Indonesian and British descent, exploring personal experience as a gateway to broader human concerns. She’s participated nationally in exhibitions, residencies, and mentorships; and has won a number of awards.

Kho is a popular and experienced speaker, juror, and art educator, teaching art to adults in both digital and traditional media.

Selection Process

  • Submission is complete when application form, images and entry fee payment is received.
  • Complete submission guidelines are on our website.
  • Decisions will be made on the digital images submitted by the artist and determine award winners from the accepted artwork.
  • The juror’s decision is final.

About Us

Neilson Park Creative Centre (NPCC) is a charitable organization that serves the diverse landscape of Toronto through partnerships, outreach initiatives and community engagement.

As an arts hub in Western Toronto, NPCC serves the community by offering arts based classes, workshop, drop-ins, open studios, events and exhibitions within and outside its facilities.

NPCC is an accessible facility.

NPCC’s galleries are open daily during regular operating hours. Admission and parking are free.
