Colour and Form Society

Founded in 1952, the Colour and Form Society (CFS) is a not-for-profit organization of accomplished visual artists in Ontario. Rooted in Canada’s post-war cultural history and founded by European “New Canadians,” CFS celebrates diversity, creative freedom, and artistic expression. Today, it continues to showcase excellence and foster appreciation for the visual arts.

74th Open Juried Exhibition

Each fall, the Colour and Form Society’s Open Juried Exhibition celebrates original fine art from members and non-members. Showcasing diverse styles, perspectives, and cultural influences, the exhibition reflects Canada’s vibrant artistic community. Awards honour artistic excellence, while Opening Receptions welcome art lovers. Accepted artists may also be considered for CFS membership.

Denise Collins, Odins Eyes

Jurors

Maria Iva is an award-winning Canadian landscape painter based in Mississauga, Ontario. An elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists (SCA) and the Ontario Society of Artists (OSA), she also holds Master Signature Status with Pastel Artists Canada (MPAC).

James Gummerson is a Hamilton-based painter James Gummerson creates evocative urban landscapes exploring light, memory, nature, and everyday life. His award-winning work has been exhibited across Canada and featured on CBC television.
