Call for Submissions: Biennale Internationale du Carnet d’Artiste 2024

Call for Submissions:
Biennale Internationale du Carnet d’Artiste 2024
(International Artist’s Sketchbook Biennale)

Submission Deadline: May 26, 2024

An artist’s sketchbook is a very personal object inside of which ideas are freely growing, both technically and stylistically. Sketches, musical notes, doodles, collages, colors, marks, painting, tears, writing, watercolors, words, pictures, and memories unveil the most intimate part of the artist’s mind.

The Société d’art et d’histoire de Beauport (SAHB) is inviting artists from all countries to send their sketchbooks for an exhibition in Quebec City at the Maison Tessier-dit-Laplante, from August to December 2024. The SAHB will set up an examination board of art specialists who will then choose the best sketchbooks and reward their authors with special prizes.
