Call for Submissions: Art Gallery of Bancroft 2025/26 Exhibition Seasons

Art Gallery of Bancroft Open Call

The Art Gallery of Bancroft (AGB) is a public, not-for-profit art gallery in Bancroft, ON providing artists at all stages of their career, working in any media, the opportunity to exhibit in a professional gallery venue. Exhibitions are selected by our curatorial committee. All submissions will be reviewed and artists notified in September 2024. This Open Call covers exhibition spaces for the AGB’s 2025 and 2026 exhibition calendar.

There is no fee to apply. Because the AGB operates solely on donations, memberships and sponsorships, we are unable to pay CARFAC-level artist fees at this time. Exhibiting artists receive a nominal honorarium.

Deadline for submissions: June 30, 2024

Visit for submission information.

The Art Gallery of Bancroft is dedicated to representing the diverse range of voices within our community and beyond and welcomes submissions from artists of all backgrounds, ethnicities and identities including those from underserved groups and communities.

The Art Gallery of Bancroft is situated on the unceded traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg Algonquins. As a settler-founded and settler-led organization, the AGB is grateful to exist on this land and in this community.

We acknowledge our responsibility to honour and respect the grounds on which we are privileged to gather in the pursuit of art appreciation.

It is our sincere intention to walk in partnership with the sovereign First Nations, in the spirit of reconciliation, collaboration and artistic creation, as we collectively move forward on this shared journey.
