Cedar Ridge Creative Centre Call for Artists: 2023 Gallery Exhibitions

Attention all artists!

Cedar Ridge Creative Centre invites applications from emerging and established visual artists and craftspeople working in a variety of media for their 2023 Gallery Programs.

You are welcome to apply as individuals or as groups for one or both gallery programs:

Contemporary Art Exhibition
January – March, 2023
Exhibitions are scheduled for approximately one month at a time between January and April 2023; artists receive a small honorarium and marketing assistance.

Ridge Rentals
September – December, 2023
Apply for a short term gallery space rental during the months of September to December to sell and exhibit your visual artwork at the beautiful, historic Cedar Ridge Creative Centre. Gallery rentals are available on a biweekly basis from September – December 2023.

Deadline for Submissions for both programs: Friday, September 23, 2022, at 4 p.m.

About the Gallery:

Cedar Ridge Creative Centre Gallery is programmed ten months of the year with short term rotating exhibitions showcasing works by emerging and established artists, community arts groups and students. Cedar Ridge welcomes artists of all abilities, individual artists and/or artist collectives.

The gallery space features three large rooms on the main floor of a historic mansion with hardwood floors and original architectural features remaining in the gallery spaces. The gallery is filled with large windows that provide natural light throughout the day.

Cedar Ridge Creative Centre, owned and operated by The City of Toronto, Arts Services, is programmed in partnership with the Cedar Ridge Studio Gallery, a registered charitable organization dedicated to the promotion of visual art in the community.
