Call for Peer Assessors

Culture Grant Peer Assessment Committee

The City of Mississauga is looking for four peer assessors to join the Culture Grant Peer Assessment Committee. This committee ensures transparency and fair assessments in the review process for the following grant programs; the Arts & Culture Grant, Cultural Festivals & Celebrations and the Culture Projects grant programs.

Potential assessors must meet the following criteria:

  • Practicing arts and culture professionals with a minimum of two years’ experience in one of the following fields; dance, theatre, visual arts, film, digital arts, heritage, museums, music, or festivals and celebrations (must be connected to Mississauga as a resident, through their place of employment or have a prominent role as an arts & culture expert outside the city).

OR

  • Mississauga-based community leaders with experience volunteering for Boards of Directors and a demonstrated commitment to the City of Mississauga.

AND

  • Not currently in a relationship with any group or organization currently seeking or receiving funding from the City of Mississauga’s grant programs.

Submission deadline: May 31, 2019 at 4pm EST

Successful applicants will be asked to commit to a four year term (2019-2022).
