Issued by Mills + Mills Consulting Services Inc.
Public Art Management
On behalf of EllisDon for Exterior Therapeutic Art Installation for West Lincoln Memorial Hospital

We are privileged to provide care on lands that Indigenous peoples have called home for thousands of years. We recognize and respect the presence and stewardship of all Indigenous peoples as keepers of this land.

Ellis Don is designing and constructing a new hospital facility in the Grimsby area. Mills + Mills Consulting Services Inc. (dba Public Art Management) “PAM” is responsible for the management of the selection process to identify exterior therapeutic art to be commissioned for the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital (WLMH).

WLMH has been caring for West Niagara residents for over 70 years. As a community hospital, WLMH provides both inpatient services and outpatient services. As a site of Hamilton Health Sciences, WLMH also serves as a point of access to one of the largest health systems in Canada for patients requiring more specialized care.

WLMH is undergoing a needed redevelopment of its outdated facility in Grimsby, Ontario. The new facility will expand the hospital by 80% and will include inpatient and outpatient services including emergency care, complex and palliative care and a maternal and newborn program.
