What could eight months do for your artistic practice?

Applications are open for the Glenhyrst Artist Incubator, an eight-month studio program and professional development opportunity designed to support artists at every stage of their creative journey.

Located in Glenhyrst’s historic Cottage, four selected artists will receive a dedicated semi-private studio space along with a mentorship and career development program.

Whether you’re developing a consistent studio practice, exploring a new body of work, or looking to strengthen your professional skills, the Glenhyrst Artist Incubator offers the time, space, support, and tools to take the next step.

Program Includes

• An eight-month studio and professional development opportunity (October 1, 2026 – May 31, 2027)
• Daily access to a dedicated semi-private studio space in Glenhyrst’s historic Cottage
• Professional development workshops designed for each cohort of artists
• Individual mentorship sessions with Glenhyrst’s Curator and Director at the beginning, midpoint, and conclusion of the program
• Opportunities to connect with fellow artists and arts professionals
• A supportive, collaborative creative community
• A culminating public group exhibition featuring work developed throughout the period

The Artist Incubator is designed to support both your artistic practice and your professional development. Through dedicated self-directed studio time, mentorship with Glenhyrst’s Curator and Director, professional development workshops led by artists in the field, and the opportunity to work alongside fellow artists, you’ll have the time, guidance, and community to take meaningful steps toward your creative goals.

Program Fee: $250/month (eight-month commitment)
