ARAS now transcends the conventional boundaries of visual art and making, delving beyond the surface of each artwork, unearthing the profound narratives of individual artistic journeys and relationships cultivated along the way. Within the exhibition, a palpable and irreplaceable energy comes to life as creators share a common space, igniting an exchange of creative process and inspiration.

This exhibition stands as a testament to the universal potential of creativity, celebrating the diverse and inclusive spirit of artistry. Regardless of age, occupation, background, or technical abilities, ARAS now commemorates every individual’s natural ability to create and the path that has led them to this momentous juncture. At its heart, the exhibition cherishes the “now” of each participant, as their artistic evolution finds its home in the Avenue Road Arts School community.

The process of creating art is an enriching journey, and ARAS now aims to capture the essence of that journey. Through drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, and mixed media, this exhibition showcases the embodied practices of Avenue Road Arts School’s instructors and students, each piece resonating with a unique story of growth and self-discovery.

Within the captivating display of artworks, ARAS now is an exchange of practices, processes, and creations, nurturing a symbiotic relationship between instructors and students. As students immerse themselves in the guidance of artist instructors, the instructors, in turn, draw inspiration from profound conversations and shared discoveries, cultivating an environment of creativity and mutual learning.

ARAS now serves as a platform for Avenue Road Arts School to spotlight the creativity of both faculty and students. Their remarkable artworks embody the dedication, support, and boundless creativity that thrives within the school’s artistic community.
