Open Call to Artists: Biennale internationale du lin de Portneuf (BILP)

Submission Deadline: November 28, 2025

The Biennale internationale du lin de Portneuf’s organizers are calling for submissions from artists willing to work with flax and/or linen, or to elaborate concepts linked to flax and/or linen. The next biennial event will take place in the summer of 2027, in the Portneuf region.

Creators from different fields of practice are welcomed: visual arts, contemporary crafts, media arts (including film and video), etc. It is not necessary to have previous experience working with linen or to have a practice in textile arts to apply.

About the Biennale

Every two years, the Biennale internationale du lin de Portneuf (BILP) presents a multidisciplinary artistic event featuring original works that highlight linen or flax in both material and conceptual terms. Deeply rooted in its territory, the BILP presents its exhibitions in heritage sites that are emblematic of the region.

You can view documentation from previous editions of the event on our website: biennaledulin.com.
