Mosaic Artists of Canada (MAC) is very excited to announce its national exhibition entitled Unity, running from August 6 to September 21, 2025. The show will feature 34 artists and 50 unique fine art mosaic pieces.

MAC is a member-based, not-for-profit organization, dedicated to the diverse and dynamic medium of mosaic and the Canadian artists who excel in it. Exhibitions are held biennially to gather and showcase the vast and innovative talents of artists living both home and abroad.

Yuqian Sun is a young, award-winning independent artist whose practice spans both large-scale oil and watercolour paintings as well as intimate, small-format works. Beyond her expansive canvases, she has a deep passion for creating realistic watercolour pieces that capture the quiet beauty found in everyday life.

The Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA) is a registered charity founded in 1941 by professional Canadian working artists including Group of Seven luminaries Lawren Harris, Arthur Lismer, and A.Y. Jackson. The first National Executive Council was led by Andre Bieler, and Lawren Harris was the BC region’s first Chairman. Other notable founding members included Emily Carr and the Honorable Mark Kearley.

The Hook and I

The Etobicoke Rugcrafters, The Hook and I exhibition is their annual display of artworks. In the exhibition there is a variety of rughooking styles and the wide ranging use of colour and textures in the hooked pieces.

Etobicoke Quilters’ Guild
Annual Members’ Challenge

The Etobicoke Quilters’ Guild (EQG) is one of the oldest quilting guilds in Canada. Since EQG was formed in 1975, the guild has grown to about 160 members and incorporates a wide range of interests and skill levels. Membership is open to people of all ages interested in any aspect of quilting.
