The Department of Fine Arts proudly presents interlude. the 46th annual senior undergraduate exhibition featuring artwork by fourth year honours students completing the Fine Arts undergraduate degree program at the University of Waterloo. Presenting a wide-range of materials and themes, the exhibition reflects both the creativity of the students and the diversity of practices that they have been exposed to as part of the studio program.

“An interlude is a pause between acts—an intervening period of time. This exhibition is the culmination of four years spent honing our craft, exploring new methods of creation, and discovering who we are as artists. Now is our time to take a brief pause before emerging from the university as budding artists; holding four years-worth of skill, determination, and perseverance.” (excerpted from class statement)
