Two Open Calls for Submissions at Latcham Art Centre

Latcham Art Centre is inviting applications from Ontario-based artists for the Annual Juried Exhibition (Pre-Registration Deadline, March 6), and the new outdoor show and sale, Art in the Park (Deadline, May 8).

Call for Submissions: 2026 Annual Juried Exhibition

Latcham Art Centre invites Ontario-based artists to submit up to two recent works (completed in 2024-26) in any medium to the Annual Juried Exhibition. This year’s exhibition runs from Monday, March 16 to Saturday, April 25, 2026.

All artworks must be dropped off in-person at Latcham to be eligible for jurying. A non-refundable fee of $35 + HST per artist must accompany each application, payable online or in person.

Online pre-registration is available until Friday, March 6, 2026 at 4:30pm.
Submission Drop-off: Monday, March 9, 2026, between 10am and 8pm

Submitted artworks will be juried by an esteemed panel of three art professionals. Pre-registration, rules and regulations are available at www.latchamartcentre.ca/exhibitions/aje26

Exhibition Opening Reception: Monday, March 16, 2026,  7 – 9pm
$1000 in prizes, including 3 Juror’s Awards and 1 People’s Choice award, will be presented.

All are welcome. Admission is free.

Call for Submissions: 2026 Art in the Park

Latcham Art Centre is currently accepting visual art vendor applications for Art in the Park 2026 from artists aged 12-17 and 18+.

After a successful first year of hosting Stouffville’s Art in the Park, Latcham Art Centre looks forward to growing this event with more artists, artist demos, and opportunities for the public to meet with artists.

Submission Deadline: Friday, May 8, 2026, at 4:30 pm
Entries are being evaluated on a bi-weekly basis, starting soon. Early applications are recommended.

Location: Memorial Park – Park Drive & Burkholder Street, Stouffville
Time: Saturday, June 13, 2026. Event open 10am to 5pm.

Art in the Park is a vibrant community outdoor art show and sale featuring a variety of artists, music, and an atmosphere filled with creative energy. Featured artists offer a variety of mediums, including fine art paintings, jewelry, pottery, textile art, photography, and more.
