PS GUELPH’s annual Rock / Paper / Scissors: Book & Print Fair is back on Sunday, February 25, 2024, from 11 am to 4 pm at the Art Gallery of Guelph. The event is free!

Rock / Paper / Scissors is devoted to small-scale publishing and the social life of the book. This year, local zinesters, printmakers, poets, and publishers from across Ontario will join us for a print media lover’s dream. Peruse hand-made and locally published books and print media and support small book makers, artists, and publishers. At noon we’ll be launching the newest book from PS Guelph, Under the Sky Beneath the Moon by Mozhgan Majoob, and throughout the afternoon you can drop in to the workshop room to create a zine with Sonali Menezes!

Rock / Paper / Scissors is part of a weekend of programming hosted by Publication Studio Guelph, including a series of workshops on Saturday, February 24th at the Boarding House Arts building in Guelph. In the morning we will host a workshop called “How do poems resist, refuse, and set into bloom more inhabitable worlds?” with Jesse Ruddock, and a linocut printing workshop with Danny Fury. In the afternoon we’ll present stitch binding with Louisa Krátká, and comic creation with illustrator Sunny Singh. Details and registration information can be found at
