Request for Proposals: Artwork Inventory for Outdoor Exhibits and Major Events
Artwork Inventory for Outdoor Exhibits and Major Events
Canadian Heritage
The Department of Canadian Heritage is seeking professional Canadian artists who work with large-scale outdoor format sculptures, including interactive and light installations, in order to showcase Canadian artistic excellence through temporary outdoor exhibits in Canada’s Capital Region at highly visible locations in downtown Ottawa and Gatineau and installations for major events.
Canadian Heritage is inviting artists to submit up to three existing three-dimensional artworks to be retained as part of a pre-qualified artwork inventory for long-term exhibits and major events. This inventory will remain active from January 2020 to December 2021, with a possibility of a one-year extension. Once the artworks are pre-qualified, one or more may be selected for exhibition as part of a major event held in Canada’s capital or as an autonomous installation for an extended duration.
Deadline for sending your submission: January 7, 2020 – 4 p.m. (EST)
