This weekend check out the Onkwehón:we Festival at the Woodland Cultural Centre in Brantford / Six Nations! This free festival celebrates contemporary and traditional Haudenosaunee arts and culture with Indigenous artists from across Turtle Island. Dance at the Social on Friday night, rock out to live music on Saturday, and experience the dazzling performance of the Sinquah Family Dance Troup from Arizona, followed by a Smoke Dance competition on Sunday. Enjoy storytelling, music, theatre, food and more with the whole family this weekend June 28th-30th!
Enjoy free admission to the Festival and the Woodland Cultural Centre’s museum and galleries throughout the weekend. There are also still a few tickets available for purchase for our Beaded Strawberry Pins workshop. See the Festival Schedule at wcc.events for more details.
