This exploratory exhibition brings together three artists who are looking at the cultural disruption that occurs as cities have become the primary environment for humans. Synthetic human design touches almost everything we surround ourselves with while living in the city. How is this distancing us from nature and does it change our identities, values and bodies?
Each artist’s inspiration comes from a different corner, from complex mycelium webs, to surreal dreamscapes, and the seductive synthetic body. With an emphasis on material exploration and experimentation, the show is an intriguing mix of installation, sculpture, painting and video.
