Artfare Essentials 2024

Workshop: December 9 – 15, 2024
Jumblies Studio, Toronto

Artfare Essentials, the week-long intensive program, is returning this December, and registration is now open!

This professional training program is designed for individuals interested in exploring the principles and practices of community-engaged arts. Whether participants are curious about integrating community-focused art into their own practice or looking to deepen their understanding of arts that foster community connection, this workshop offers valuable insights.

Led by Sharada Eswar of Jumblies Theatre and Beth Helmers of Community Arts Guild, along with special guest instructors, Artfare Essentials provides a comprehensive introduction to the many aspects of community-engaged artmaking. Participants will leave with enhanced knowledge, new relationships and connections, and a certificate of completion.

The program offers a low workshop fee with sliding scale options available, and translation and accessibility support can be arranged upon request.
