The Rendezvous with Madness Festival, presented by Workman Arts, is one of the first and largest arts and mental health festivals in the world. Opening on World Mental Health Day, the Festival runs October 10 – 20, 2019 and showcases 31 feature-length and short films from around the globe, 21 live performance pieces, a visual and media arts exhibition, and the addition of a new event, Laughter vs. The Universe – a one night only comedy showcase designed to remind us that sometimes laughter truly is the best medicine.
Tickets are selling quickly! Many programs have limited seating, so be sure to book soon.
This year’s theme is #GetMad – a call to action, reminding us that sharing stories is a powerful tool against isolation, stigma and discrimination. Want to share what #GetMad means to you? Click here to tell us and we might feature your story on social media.
We also encourage you to post on your personal social media accounts for the opening of the festival on World Mental Health Day, October 10, and throughout the festival to October 20, tagging your posts with #GetMad, #RWMFest19 and #RWMFest.
