FRUIT LOOPS is back and better than ever! Galerie Sans Nom and Struts Gallery are excited to team up and announce the next iteration of our 2SLGBTQIA+ video art screening series FRUIT LOOPS: Too Fruity Too Loopy. FRUIT LOOPS will be screening in both Moncton, NB and Sackville, NB, free and open to the public. Unable to make it to the event in person? La Galerie Sans Nom et Struts Gallery sont ravies de collaborer et d’annoncer la prochaine itération de notre série de projections d’art vidéo 2ELGBTQIA+ FRUIT LOOPS : Si Froufrou Si Farfelu. FRUIT LOOPS sera projeté à Moncton et à Sackville, au Nouveau-Brunswick, et sera gratuit et ouvert au public. Vous ne pouvez pas vous rendre à l’événement en personne? Struts Gallery is located on the unceded ancestral lands of the Mi’kmaq Nation and the Wolastoquyik (Maliseet) peoples. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship” which Wolastoqiyik/Wәlastәkwiyik (Maliseet) and Mi’kmaq Peoples first signed with the British Crown in 1725. The treaties did not deal with surrender of lands and resources but in fact recognized Mi’kmaq and Wolastoqiyik/Wәlastәkwiyik (Maliseet) title and established the rules for what was to be an ongoing relationship between nations. We acknowledge, honour, and pay respect to the traditional owners and custodians of this land.

Ce territoire est couvert par les «Traités de paix et d’amitié» que les peuples Wolastoqiyik/Wәlastәkwiyik (Malécites) et Mi’gmaq ont signés pour la première fois avec la Couronne britannique en 1725. Les traités ne portaient pas sur la cession de terres et de ressources, mais reconnaissaient en fait les titres des Mi’gmaq et des Wolastoqiyik/ Wәlastәkwiyik (Malécites) et établissaient les règles de ce qui devait être une relation en continue entre les nations. Nous reconnaissons, honorons et respectons les propriétaires et gardiens traditionnels de cette terre.
