ACRYLIC EXPLORATIONS: WAX EFFECTS with Tina Poplawski – starts Tues. Oct 5th – 10AM-12:30PM – 10 weeks – Learn how to create encaustic-like effects using acrylic mediums and specialized techniques. Offered only once a year!

INTRODUCTION TO WATERCOLOUR with Brian Hoxhah – starts Tues. Oct 5th – 10AM-12:30PM – 10 weeks – For novices and those with some background.

DRAWING AS A CONTEMPORARY PRACTICE with Kyla Brown – starts Tues. Oct 5th – 10AM-12:30PM – 10 weeks – an inspiring intermediate level course.

INNER WORKS: STUDIO VISITS with Iris Haussler – starts Wed. Oct 20th – 10AM-12:30PM – 8 weeks – visit Iris’ studio and your fellow classmates’, and explore the inner workings of making art – a course like none other.

SELF PORTRAIT: A PERSONAL LANDSCAPE with Martha Eleen – starts Wed. Oct 6th – 6-8:30PM – 10 weeks – explore your personal landscape in drawing media.

STRUCTURAL DRAWING:DIMENSION & PROPORTION with Lindsey Rosenow – starts Thurs. Oct. 14th – 6-8:30PM – 9 weeks – for students looking to make their drawings and paintings look and feel more three dimensional.

ILLUSTRATOR/PHOTOSHOP with Tobias Williams – starts Thurs. Oct 14th – 6-8:30PM – 8 weeks – learn the fundamentals of Illustrator and Photoshop – an excellent introduction!

ABSTRACT PAINTING 2 with Lori-Ann Bellissimo – starts Fri. Oct. 22nd – 10AM-12:30PM – 8 weeks – an Intermediate Level online Abstract painting course with UK painter, based Lori-Ann.

INTRODUCTION TO DRAWING with Tina Oehmsen-Clark – starts Thurs. Oct 21 – 6-9PM – NEW! learn the basics or brush up on your fundamentals of drawing!

PORTRAIT PAINTING FUNDAMENTALS with Florian Jacot – starts Tues. Oct 19 – 6-9PM – NEW! Learn the fundamentals of painting portraits – proportion, form, light & shadow and colour.

CREATING A CODEX: HANDMADE MANUSCRIPTS with Jacqueline Treloar – starts Wed. Nov 3 – 2-5PM – NEW! Explore the Codex: ancestor to modern books – learn how to create your own handmade book cover in this unique course.

FIGURE & SMALL OBJECT CASTING with Florian Jacot – starts Sat. Oct. 9 – 1:30-4:30PM – Learn how to create a cast of your sculpture to create multiples (using various resins and finishing techniques).

Due to social distancing requirements due to COVID-19, TSA’s OPEN LIFE DRAWING & PAINTING program is not available at this time. We look forward to making it available again as soon as conditions permit.
