A Place I Call Home is an award-winning interactive artwork by hybrid artist Faisal Anwar, presented in a new iteration for Richmond Hill Public Library. Drawing on new and archival images from our community, the work becomes a generative, photo-based installation that explores memory, belonging, and the continually shifting nature of the idea of home.

About the Artist

Faisal Anwar is an award-winning hybrid artist working at the intersection of art, design, data, and emerging technologies. His practice spans interactive installations, immersive environments, and data-driven artworks exploring ecology, migration, memory, and collective imagination. He served as Chief Curator of the Karachi Biennial 2022 and is the founder of CultureLab.art and co-founder of ArtAddress.
