What We Hold

May 18 – 31, 2023
Opening Reception: May 18, 6:30-9:00pm
Northern Contemporary Gallery, Toronto

This exhibition features photo-based art created by the 2023 graduating class of Contemporary Photography students at Etobicoke School of the Arts. What We Hold is the first, and likely the only time, that this remarkable group of students will show together in-person. Many of these artists met three years ago on computer screens in the midst of isolation, lockdowns and uncertainty. Carefully conceived and thoughtfully presented, this collection of art embodies each graduating students’ three-year journey of persistence, heartache, and growth.
