Who We Are: The Brampton Arts Organization (BAO), previously the Arts, Culture & Creative Industry Development Agency (ACCIDA), is a unique organization incubating within the City of Brampton focused on growing, celebrating, advocating for and connecting the creative sector by offering a rang​e of programs, services and resources. Are you the next BAO team member?
We are seeking an Education & Community Outreach Coordinator to support our year-round calendar of programs, events and workshops, including potential community space use. Our ideal candidate is a passionate advocate for the role of the arts and creatives in building collaborative, supportive and inclusive communities and a motivated, thoughtful relationship builder.
You have experience in developing and guiding education and programming curriculum and have worked with educators and students. You are familiar with the Brampton creative scene and are invested in supporting its growth. Working as a part of a team, you are considerate, proactive and very organized with a sense of humour and commitment to progressive ideas and values.
You’ll be responsible for the smooth operation of educational programming both for kids and adults, including community outreach events and professional development sessions. You’ll also contribute to exploring expanded public access to our office and facilities and build relationships with various stakeholders through community outreach initiatives. We need you to help administer planning and programming and supervise support staff.

Hiring Salary Range: $73,881.00 – $83,116.00 per annum
8 Month Contract with the potential for extension.
