Visual Arts Mississauga (VAM) at Riverwood welcomes artists from across the province to apply to its 43rd Annual Juried Show of Fine Arts. This prestigious art exhibition will kick-off Mississauga’s 2021 season of cultural events.

VAM43 will showcase an eclectic mix of traditional and contemporary visual art works. Jurors will select 43 artworks to be on exhibition on the VAM43 website from January 14 – December 31, 2021. If possible, the selected award winners’ art works will be on display at the Small Arms Inspection Building from Thursday, January 14 – February 11, 2021.

Open to emerging and established artists living and working in Ontario, the entry deadline is midnight on Sunday, November 15, 2020. For submission information, click here or go to www.visualartsmississauga.com and look under the Visit tab, followed by the Exhibitions tab.

“2020 has delivered us a strange new way of being. This necessitates the move of the VAM43 exhibition to an online platform,” says VAM Executive Director Annis Karpenko. “Regardless, I am confident the VAM43 team and the selected artists will deliver a thought-provoking, creative and restorative exhibition showcasing reflections of our new normal. I am excited by our phenomenal juror panel and look forward to seeing the entries for this year’s show.”
