All open call shows are non-juried. All work that meets our specifications (please refer to contract) will be accepted. Please visit our website to download submission forms. Payment is due on submission day. We now offer an online version of all our shows. Please send a JPEG of a piece that you plan to submit.

The Art On Paper Show

June 3 – 21, 2026
Drop Off: Sunday, May 31, 2026, between 3 – 6pm

Submission Guideline: Accepting artwork on all types of paper. All mediums accepted. Theme is open.

Maximum of 4 pieces per artist (No exceptions)
Maximum space per artist 48″ x 48″ total.

The Square Foot Show

June 24 – July 12, 2026
Drop Off: Sunday, June 21, 2026, between 3 – 6pm

Submission Guideline: Accepting artwork 12″ x 12″ only. Open theme. Different mediums accepted. Artwork should be priced at $250 or less.
* Artist may submit up to 6 pieces for this show.

Maximum size per piece: 12″ x 12″ each
Maximum of 6 pieces per artist

Members $25 per show (10% commission fee on work sold)

Imagine your creations beautifully displayed in our storefront, where they can be admired by passersby in a vibrant community with a remarkable 96% walk score. This prime location ensures that your art will be seen by a diverse audience, attracting art lovers, locals, and tourists alike.

Window Size: 98″ width x 78″ height
3 – 6 pieces @ $200 / week + 13% HST
Use of our easels and/or plinths – 2D & 3D artwork accepted

Gerrard Art Space is a community focused, membership driven, dedicated art space. Our mandate is to support, promote and facilitate the creation of a variety of art forms, including visual, performance, music, poetry, spoken word and film.

Regular programming includes workshops, classes, and shows that engage neighbourhood residents and the Toronto art community. GAS prioritizes accessibility, inclusivity, and open dialogue in both its programming and outreach, working to build and sustain a creative, vibrant community. To emphasize our commitment to inclusivity, we regularly host call for submission shows that are non- juried and open to the public. We encourage all who are engaged in the creative process. Whether you have an art practice or this is your very first attempt, you and your work will be made most welcome.
