Struts Gallery: Call for Submissions
No Ceiling: It’s About Time

Struts Gallery is eager to announce No Ceiling, an exploration of time and artistic practice. No Ceiling will bring together a cohort of artists and audiences for a participatory event of conversation, creation, and exchange, in Sackville, New Brunswick, Mi’kma’ki.

We invite artists with diverse practices to submit proposals for presentations, singular actions, community collaborations, offsite projects, performances, workshops, or socially engaged activities that consider or embody notions of time, however broadly interpreted – from moments to eras, archives to instances, through seasons and histories.

Struts Gallery will host and facilitate this gathering, providing context and support for interdisciplinary practices and wide-ranging critical inquiry.

If these guidelines present an obstacle to you or your work, we will strive to accommodate alternative formats including video and audio. Please email or call to arrange these accommodations — gallery staff are happy to assist.

Struts Gallery will cover artist fees, travel expenses, per diem, and accommodations. Selected projects may include a materials budget associated with workshops or public events. All projects will have technical support from gallery staff.

Proposals will be selected by a jury of professional artists.
