Mississauga’s 50th Anniversary Mural with Augmented Reality

Budget: $191,000 + HST CAD

The City of Mississauga seeks to commission a large-scale mural that celebrates and honours the history of Mississauga and its name. The mural will be located on the fly tower of the Living Arts Centre within the city’s Downtown Core and will incorporate an Augmented Reality (AR) component.

Professional artists, illustrators, muralists, digital artists and Indigenous artists are encouraged to apply. This is a two-stage artist selection process. Up to three artists will be shortlisted from this call to develop a proposal.

Submissions are being accepted until: Sunday, August 27, 2023 by 11:59 p.m. EDT.
