The Homer Watson House & Gallery Annual Juried Show provides the opportunity for artists to display their artwork in one of the oldest operating galleries in Ontario. Local artists are invited to submit their artwork for consideration. No postal entries will be permitted. Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd will be awarded. The People’s choice award recipient will receive a certificate and an HWHG Print.

Artwork Drop-Off:
Sunday, November 6, 2022, 10am-4pm
Pickup for Unselected Artwork:
Tuesday, November 8, 2022, 10am-6pm from basement classroom
Presentation of Awards and Reception:
Thursday, November 17, 2022, 7-9pm
Pickup for end of show:
Monday, January 9, 2023, 10am-6pm

Homer Watson House & Gallery
Homer Watson House & Gallery is the homestead of Homer Watson, Canada’s first internationally recognized landscape artist (1855-1936). In 1980, the house and surrounding three-acre property were designated under the Ontario Heritage Act as being of architectural and historic significance. HWHG is dedicated to preserving and celebrating the legacy of Homer Watson’s creative spirit by stimulating the appreciation, enjoyment, and practice of the visual arts.
Homer Watson House & Gallery is wheelchair accessible.
Homer Watson House & Gallery acknowledges that it is situated on the traditional territory of the Attawandaron (Neutral), Anishnaabeg, and Haudenosaunee peoples; land promised to Six Nations, six miles on each side of the Grand River.
