Call for Proposals: 2SLGBTQ+ Holiday Themed Photo Stand-In
Church-Wellesley Village BIA, Toronto
The Church-Wellesley Village BIA is calling for 2SLGBTQ+ artists to submit proposals for Photo Stand-Ins. Artists will paint the design on the 4ft by 8ft board that will be displayed in Barbara Hall Park. These stand-ins should be holiday-themed. Proposals are due on November 12th at 5pm.
From Wikipedia: “A photo stand-in (also called a Sproftacchel, face in the hole board, photo cutout board, comic foreground or picture you put your head in ) is a large board with an image printed on it and that has one or more holes cut out where people can stick their face through the board.”
Important Details:
- $400 honorarium given by cheque upon completion
- Photo Stand-In that is approximately 4ft by 8ft to feature 1 – 3 people. Please keep in mind that the final product must include The Church-Wellesley Village BIA logo & The City of Toronto’s logo.
- Selected candidates will be given the board to paint on and the supplies needs to paint the design
- Artists can either pick up the board & materials and paint in their own space or a space can be provided for the artists to paint.
- Projected needs to be completed by December 1st, 2021
