Call for Submissions to Artists and Curators for Exhibition Projects
Salle Alfred-Pellan of Maison des arts de Laval, Laval, Québec
Submission Deadline: November 5, 2023
Salle Alfred-Pellan (SAP) is a museum and institution dedicated to the dissemination of contemporary and current art. The SAP provides a space of manifold exchanges, first through the museological process between artists, curators, and our team, and then between the exhibitions and the visitors through its art mediation program. Its mission enables it to present projects of national scope while offering the public tools and activities to help appropriate the presented works.
Regular exhibitions
Two exhibition spaces are available: the Salle Alfred-Pellan (for 2025 and 2026) and the Foyer (2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons). Professional artists and curators are invited to present an original solo or group exhibition project in contemporary art for either space or for both.
Thematic exhibitions
The SAP is inviting curators to submit proposals for a group thematic exhibition in the 2025-26 season. This contemporary art exhibition includes an important educational segment and should be a reflection about textile art. For more information, please write ma.baril@laval.ca, specifying “SAP – thematic exhibition” in the subject.
