Call for Artists: Sports Hall of Fame at Victoria Park Arena (Suspended Sculptural Artwork)

The City of Brampton, Ontario invites professional artists and artist-led teams from Ontario to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) to create a suspended sculptural artwork at Victoria Park Arena. Project Description

The City is looking for a dynamic and unique public artwork to be installed in the main entrance of Victoria Park Arena and positioned within the Brampton Sports Hall of Fame. The suspended artwork will celebrate the rich history of sport in Brampton and will incorporate the creative reuse of sports equipment or materials. Some additional themes for the artwork include community and the changing cultural landscape as recognized through sport.

This project has a budget of $90,000 CAD including HST.

Project Focus:

• Highlight Brampton’s passion for sports and changing cultural landscape as recognized through sport.

Artist Eligibility:

• Professional artists and artist-led teams based in Ontario.
