The City of Mississauga’s Public Art Program invites professional artists, artist-led teams and muralists to submit expressions of interest for a mural on the exterior canopy of Tomken Arena (4495 Tomken Road, Mississauga, ON).

The City is seeking a bright and vibrant mural that celebrates lifelong active living and the local Mississauga multi-use trails.

This is a two-stage artist selection process open to professional artists, artist-led teams and muralists residing in Ontario, with preference given to artists who have a connection to Mississauga. Up to four artists will be shortlisted from this call to develop a proposal. The commissioned artist(s) will be expected to complete the project by September 30, 2023.

The total budget for this project is $15,000.00 CAD + HST.

Submissions to this call for expressions of interest are due Sunday, May 7, 2023 by 11:59 p.m. EDT.
