Calling all Artists, Creatives and Makers

Apply now for the two up-coming Fall and Winter Art Markets.

The Barns Art Market aims to support local talent within our diverse communities, in the art market meets gallery exhibition! If you’re an artist, creator, or maker, we encourage you to participate! Come set up alongside other local exhibitors and take part! This is a fantastic market meets exhibition opportunity to sell work, network, and grow your audience.

BAM! Nuit Blanche Night Market: Saturday, October 5, 2024, 7pm – 11pm
Join us for the 2nd Nuit Blanche Night Market, participate with in a 2024 Nuit Blanche Major Institution.

BAM! Holiday Art Market: Sunday, December 1,2024, 10am – 4pm
Join us for our annual Holiday Community Event and participate in the retail event of the season.

Exhibitor Information

Selection Process
Exhibitors are chosen by a selection committee including Wychwood Barns artists and community members. Upon acceptance of the offer and confirmation of participation, you will be issued an invoice to pay your registration fee. Payment methods will be confirmed upon acceptance into the market.

Booth Spaces
BAM! Offers 4 booth options, please consider your exhibition and display needs when ranking your booth preferences. The BAM! selection committee will do their best to assign applicants top choice, however space are limited. BAM! is hosted in the Barn 2 event space, booths are open spaces with no walls, please use our 3D venue tour tool to view the space in advance of making your booth selection. Emerging or New/Early Career Artists applying for the BAM! Emerging Artist Centre should fit the Canadian Council for the Arts definition.

  • $125.00 Emerging Artist Centre – 4′ table space, with other emerging and new career artists, best for those new to art markets.
  • $150.00 BAM! Table – 6′ table space, with other mid-career and established artists
  • $175.00 BAM! Table Plus – 6′ x 6′ space, best for those with additional display furniture, easels, clothing racks or grid walls
  • $200.00 BAM! Installation Booth – 10′ x 10′ space, best for larger installations

Tables and Linens are available for rent through Wychwood Barns, for a fee of $25. All tables should be covered by black linens. Tables in the Emerging Artist Centre will be provided.

Showcasing and Selling Work
Exhibitors must showcase and sell work from the media category indicated in their applications and represented by the supporting images provided with the application. Please note that if you would like to showcase or sell work from another media category, it must be submitted for review by the selection committee. You are not permitted to display or sell work of other artist(s) or any other products that are not your original creations. Work must be family friendly and not contain graphic or violent imagery.
