Call for Entry: Artwork for the Town of Erin’s 2026 Tree of the Year Celebration
Submission Deadline: Saturday, August 15, 2026, 11:59pm
Art Show – Arts by the Pond: Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Hillsburgh Library
To honour and celebrate the Town of Erin’s 2026 winning Tree of the Year, Erin Tree Trust invites artists to submit art works interpreting the resilience, beauty, joy, memories and value of this unique American Elm mature tree in Erin, Ontario—fondly named, “Henry”. Elder trees are a defying presence in our communities that inspire our landscapes and lives and inhabit stories and myths.
Open to all Ontario artist working in any 2-D or 3-D medium including: painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, mixed media, digital media, fibre arts, jewellery, glass, pottery and wood.
You may enter a total of 2 submissions. All entries will be lightly juried by the Erin Tree Trust team. There is no fee to submit entries. Submitted works can be for sale or not for sale.
