RiverBrink Art Museum Artist Residency 2026–2027

RiverBrink Art Museum is delighted to announce our pilot Artist Residency Program has been extended into the fall 2026. We are also pleased to make the residency a permanent part of our community programming with applications now open for the spring, summer, and fall 2027 residency seasons.

We believe this is Niagara’s first artist residency program, offering artists from across Canada and around the world the opportunity to live and work within the inspiring setting of RiverBrink Art Museum, which is supported by the Weir Foundation. Participants will enjoy access to the museum grounds while being immersed in one of Canada’s most remarkable cultural and natural landscapes. Located within easy reach of Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake, and the Niagara River, the residency provides artists with the opportunity to draw inspiration from one of the world’s great natural phenomena, as well as the rich history, architecture, gardens, and vibrant cultural life of the region.
