The City of Mississauga’s Resident Artist Program supports emerging and mid-career artist and artisans in developing and maintaining their art and design practice. The program provides artists access to professionally equipped studio spaces in the Living Arts Centre and supports artistic practices across nine disciplines.

Resident Artists in this program have opportunities to exhibit their work in an annual exhibition, participate in professional development activities, and network with other artists and arts professionals in the program and community.

New graduates (graduated within the last two years) and mid-career artists (graduated more than 2 years ago) are invited to apply. We also have openings for short-term project residencies and rentals.
