The DAN School of Drama and Music at Queen’s University offers a one-term Graduate Diploma in Arts Management and a one-year Master of Arts Leadership.

The Graduate Diploma in Arts Management and Master’s Degree in Arts Leadership are unique graduate programs focused exclusively on the arts and cultural sectors. We emphasize all aspects of Arts Management processes and leadership, including pairing your management and artistic practice with a Cultural or Arts organization through our individualized professional internship opportunities. Graduates of our Diploma and Degree programs have gone on to positions in Development, Marketing, Producing, Programming and providing key artistic or executive leadership in small, medium and large organizations, including museums, symphonies, galleries, theatres, and municipalities.

These hybrid programs include asynchronous and synchronous virtual learning sessions designed to balance flexibility in learning while also creating an online community. The programs begin with a two-week residency at Queen’s in the Spring, where you will engage in experiential learning activities, build your understanding of the arts and cultural ecosystem, and grow your network.

There will be a live online information session and Q&A with professors and administrators of the program on January 17, 2024. Register here. After the 17th, please email the department for a link to watch the replay.
