Online bidding for the 18th Annual C Magazine Contemporary Art Auction closes tomorrow! There is only one day left to bid on silent auction artworks, available exclusively online, before Tuesday, September 20th at 9:30pm EDT. Advanced bidding for works in the Live Auction ends online September 20th at 12:00pm EDT, to resume at 7:00pm with in-person paddle bidding at the event. The online and live auctions feature over 60 artworks generously donated by artists whose work reflects our mandate to provide a forum for Canadian-led conversations in contemporary art. Funds raised will directly support the online and print publication of the magazine and related educational programming. C Magazine commissions more than 120 artists, writers, and thinkers each year and presents the work of hundreds more. Advance ticket purchasers and online bidders receive The Gattuso Edition; Tortoise Egg by Eunice Luk is a gift generously supported by La Fondation Emmanuelle Gattuso. Each Live Auction ticket includes complimentary food, bar, and a subscription to C Magazine.

We also invite you to join us for the Live Auction on Tuesday, September 20th at 72 Perth Avenue. Doors open at 5:30 PM and bidding will begin at 7:00 PM.

Bidding at the Live Auction: A credit card will be required to secure a paddle. Save time when you arrive by saving your credit card when you buy a ticket online (Live Auction purchases will not be charged to your card automatically). Be sure to bring your cell phone to the event!

Charitable tax receipts are issued by C The Visual Arts Foundation (charitable no. 88643 1162) for the portion of an auction art purchase in excess of their estimated market value, and for tickets, less $50 per attendee.
