Announcing the Winners of the 2021 GOG Awards

image

Galeries Ontario / Ontario Galleries (GOG) is proud to announce the winners of the 2021 GOG Awards! This year marked the 44th edition of the awards, which recognize outstanding achievement, artistic merit, and excellence across Ontario’s public art gallery sector.

On Monday, November 29, 2021, professionals from across the sector gathered virtually to celebrate the institutions and individuals nominated for the prestigious awards. The GOG Awards traditionally recognize excellence in ten categories; however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s awards commemorated accomplishments in Exhibitions, Public Program, and Lifetime Achievement.

The awards ceremony also launched GOG’s online silent auction fundraiser. All funds raised from the silent auction support GOG’s programming, networking opportunities and events. The link to the silent auction website can be found here. To donate to GOG directly, please see the Canada Helps page.

Congratulations to all of this year’s recipients and nominees! A full list of contributors with images can be seen on the GOG website. Each recipient is listed by title, gallery team, artists, organization.
