Tickets Now Available for the 47th Annual GOG Awards

Galeries Ontario / Ontario Galleries (GOG) is excited to announce the 47th Annual GOG Awards! The only annual juried awards of its kind, the GOG Awards celebrate the outstanding achievement, artistic merit, and excellence of arts institutions and professionals in the public art gallery sector. The GOG Awards Program is a keystone event in our cultural calendar, and we are excited to celebrate with you this year.

The 2024 GOG Awards will be hosted in-person on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Harbourfront Centre, 235 Queens Quay West. The pre-awards reception will begin at 5:00pm, and the awards ceremony will begin at 6:30pm. Dress code is fashion forward/ business smart.

About the Awards

Established in 1977, the GOG Awards were created to highlight the continued excellence and innovation of our member public art galleries, art museums, artist-run-centres, and arts organizations. Now in its 47th edition, the GOG Awards is the most established and time-honoured awards program of any arts organization, and is one of our sector’s most important and signature events. The GOG Awards acknowledges both institutions and individuals, recognizing artistic merit, excellence, and outstanding achievement in Exhibitions, Programming, Writing, and Colleague Awards.

The 2024 shortlisted nominations will be available to view on our website and social media platforms on November 12, 2024.

About the Venue

Harbourfront Centre is located near Union subway station, and accessible by the 509 Harbourfront and 510 Spadina streetcars. Underground parking is also available on-site at 231 Queens Quay West, or above-ground one block west at Rees Street and Queens Quay West.
