Call for Submissions: Etobicoke Civic Centre Art Gallery 2024 Exhibitions

Etobicoke Civic Centre Art Gallery (ECCAG) invites visual arts organizations and collectives from across Canada to submit applications to exhibit and sell the works of their selected artist members in 2024. Artists with diverse backgrounds and those who have not exhibited previously at the gallery are encouraged to apply.

Submission Deadline: May 1, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. ET

Who can apply?
Art organizations or collectives with a minimum of four participating artists.

Fee
$565.00 (HST included) to display works for one month in 2024, on the main floor gallery space at the Etobicoke Civic Centre. Only approved applications are required to pay the exhibition fee. There is no fee to apply, and the gallery takes no commission on sales.

Submission Requirements:

  • Completed application form
  • 10 to 15 images with a list of artworks
  • If non-juried, arts group members list

About the Gallery
Etobicoke Civic Centre Art Gallery hosts 10 shows annually with exhibitions showcasing emerging and established visual artists/art groups by providing diverse, accessible, inclusive, and professional gallery spaces. The gallery is owned and operated by the City of Toronto, Arts Services, and is programmed by a dedicated gallery committee.

The gallery is a public space, displaying artworks in the halls and foyer on the main floor of the Etobicoke Civic Centre, and is filled with large windows providing natural light throughout the day. Wall space is approximately 230 feet, and 6 display cases are available for 3D works.

Call for Submissions: Assembly Hall Gallery 2024 Exhibitions

Assembly Hall Gallery is looking for exciting new works to showcase in 2024. Individual artists and arts organizations are welcome to apply.

Submission Deadline: June 15, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. ET

Emerging, mid-career and professional individual artists or collectives

Fee
$395.50 (HST included) to display works for one month in 2024, on the main floor and second floor lobby gallery spaces at Assembly Hall. Only approved applications are required to pay the exhibition fee. There is no fee to apply, and the gallery takes no commission on sales.

About the Gallery
The Assembly Hall Gallery is a public art space owned and operated by the City of Toronto. There are 8 art exhibitions annually, displaying artworks in the halls on the main floor and on the second-floor lobby. Exhibitions are viewed by art enthusiasts and those attending Assembly Hall events. With over 25,000 visitors annually, the gallery provides valuable opportunities for the wider community to enjoy and purchase works by local artists.

About Cedar Ridge Creative Centre:
Nestled within lush gardens Cedar Ridge Creative Centre is presents contemporary, classical, and folk-art exhibits in its three main floor gallery spaces. The upper floor of the main house contains working studio spaces that offer hands-on creative arts programs for visitors of all ages. The refurbished pottery studio is now in what was the original carriage house.
